Onaero Bay Holiday Park Etiquette
Full payment when Checking In
All reservations require full payment when checking in.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations outside of seven days of arrival will incur a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations within seven days of arrival will result in forfeit of total payment. We do not refund weather related cancellations.
Changes in reservation term
Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability. Early departure prior, or late arrival to the reserved date, no refund will be made.
Registration
All parties must register at reception and not occupy any site until they have been signed in.
Arrival Time: 2pm. Early arrival by prior arrangement only and may incur a cost.
Departure Time: 10am. Later departure by prior arrangement only and may incur a cost.
Caravan/Motorhomes
All caravans and motorhomes must have a current electrical warrant of fitness. This is your responsibility, and electricity supply will be refused if conditions are not met.
Toilets
Chemical toilets must be emptied in the dump station near main entrance.
Tents
Electricity can only be connected through an approved transformer or RCD lead.
Sites
Sites are to accommodate a caravan/motorhome and awning and 1 vehicle or 1 family tent (or 2x2 person tents) and 1 vehicle only. There is to be no extra tents on sites with caravans/motorhomes, awnings, or additional vehicles.
Speed
Speed within the domain/camp is 10km.
ALWAYS drive with care, there are lots of children around.
Behaviour/Noise
A good standard of behaviour is always expected. No excessive drinking, parties or loud music is permitted.
Complete quiet a between 10pm – 8am
Other Guests
It is expected that you always respect other guests and their space.
Visitors
Visitors are permitted at the managers discretion. The register guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons/visitors whilst on the property. All deliberate or reckless act that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the park will be charged to the registered guest. Visitors are to vacate the campground by 9pm or camp fees will apply.
Camp Facilities
These are for paying camp guests only. This does not include day visitors. A visitor charge equal to a site fee will apply if visitors use camp facilities. The use of all facilities by children must be under adult supervision.
Boats/Cars
The washing of boats/cars and the flushing of boat motors is not permitted within the camp. Anyone found doing so will be fined $200 per time.
Rubbish/Recycling
Stations are located at each kitchen. Please take time to recycle.
Fridges/Freezers
Please do not place alcohol, fish or fish bait in the kitchen fridges or freezers. Food must be clearly labelled with name and site number. Food is left in fridges and freezers at your own risk.
Damage
Any damage to camp property will be charged to guests, including damage caused by their visitors. The management will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage of any guest property.
Fire Evacuation
Please take time to read the procedure signage located in communal areas.
Fire/Fireworks
Open fires within the Domain and on the beach/river are prohibited at all times. This includes braziers, citronella torches and fireworks. BBQs on the beach/river must be gas only. Charcoal BBQs are allowed in camp only.
Pets
Pets must be registered at reception at time of check-in.
One cat or one dog per site will be permitted from 1 May through to 30 September. Owners need to make sure all pets are leashed at ALL times. Owners will pick up their pets’ poop immediately and place it in a bag before putting it in the rubbish bins. It is the owner’s responsibility to keep their pet under control at all times. Your pet must be quiet, no excessive barking will be tolerated. Dogs must not be aggressive to other dogs or people. All pet owners, whether you have expressly agreed or not, assume all liability regarding your dog being on our premises and indemnify us against all and any damages, all or any claims or other suits that may arise as a result of your dog being in our park. Failure to do any of the above will result in the owner and pet being asked to leave. No pets are allowed in any buildings or glamping tents.
All pet owners must comply outside with NPDC Dog Policy’s outside of the campground at all times.
